Michael Shaw shares his personal story of how the loss of his best friend to suicide had a long lasting impact on his personal and professional life. Matt was not only Officer Shaw’s best friend and roommate, but also a Deputy Sheriff. In this interview Officer Shaw recalls the night of Matt’s suicide in their home and explains how this experience ultimately resulted in developing Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).
